EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduated from Pharmacy/Medicine University/College.
- Collaborative approach to matrix relationships to execute strategies and grow the business
- Proven background in developing and implementing trade marketing strategies and plans based on sound analytics, market dynamics and relevant environmental factors.
- +5 years retail sales experience in Pharmaceuticals is preferred.
- Marketing or trade marketing experience is preferred.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Leader competencies grounded in head, heart and guts leadership
- Patient first mentality
- Ability to decipher complex environmental factors into clear customer insights and market intelligence
- Proven success in developing channel and/or brand strategies

ROLE SUMMARY
The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for the following:
- Identify strategic/ business opportunities and challenges for HBU retail trade marketing
- Work closely with Country Brand Lead to include retail chapter for brand plans and develop retail trade marketing strategies
- Develop trade marketing tactics and programs
Collaborate with Retail Lead to ensure brilliant execution of marketing activities, trade marketing tactics and programs.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set the retail trade marketing strategies and ensure capability build-up for that includes but not limited to trade programs, point of sale activities, scientific education, customer insights and performance management.
- Responsible for monitoring and recommending trade marketing budget reallocation to maximize growth
- Collect & Consolidate market insights, market data, competitors analysis to develop customer segmentation-specific solutions for capturing business opportunities as they arise in the marketplace
- Work with marketing/ 3rd parties to develop innovative point of sale materials
- Collaborate with Retail Lead, District Managers, KAE, and trade operation team to execute marketing activities for retail customers, trade marketing programs at the point of sales and generate insights/analysis from implementation.
- Track results of trade marketing programs, tactic performance, and its evolution
- Work closely with district managers for demand forecast to ensure forecast accuracy.
- Develop quality relationships and insights with new and existing customers – be “customer obsessed”
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Internal stakeholders including but not limited to Health Rep, DM/RM, KAMs, Brand Marketing, BU leads, Medical, SME’s.
- External stakeholders: Relevant portfolio HCPs as directed by Manager .
