Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Medicine
Experience
- Minimum of five 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Minimum of two 2 years of sales management and people management experience.
- Experience in Diabetes, Chronic Disease, or Specialty Care is preferred.
- Proven experience in hospital business and Key Account Management.

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Establish and achieve sales goals and strategies for both public and private channels in alignment with the business strategy.
- Supervise the sales team's preparation and execution of the sales plan.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop growth opportunities in the public tender channel.
- Coach team members to improve their ability to close deals, manage tenders, and handle major accounts.
- Motivate and inspire the sales force to drive performance.
- Lead and develop the Field Force to ensure they meet the company's objectives.
- Be an effective team player with strong management, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a high level of motivation.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of budgets, targets, and sales plans for both public and private channels within designated geographic areas.
- Establish KPIs for the Field Force and ensure sales performance is met.
- Ensure the Field Force understands the company's positioning, key messaging, brand strategy, and market dynamics.
- Collect, store, and report information about clients, field operations, and competitors.
- Submit a monthly business report to the manager.
- Adhere to business ethics guidelines and comply with local laws, quality standards, and regulations in daily operations.
- Manage human resources effectively.
- Supervise medical representatives to ensure they meet activity and sales targets.
- Provide field coaching to enhance the capabilities of medical representatives.
- Build and motivate the team to maintain a high-performance mindset.
- Collaborate across functional boundaries when delivering services to external clients.
- Work with others to explore opportunities for developing the public channel.
- Build networks and partnerships in the healthcare industry with key influencers and thought leaders.
- Manage KOL relationships across public and private channels.
- Develop, execute, and monitor annual Key Account Plans for strategic hospitals and healthcare institutions to drive sustainable business growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver integrated customer solutions and maximize Key Account performance.
- Participate in regional meetings, national conferences, and collaborate with others to contribute meaningfully.
- Collaborate effectively with other field roles to drive success.
